Comercial Química Barcino, S.A. was first established in 1.981 in the city of Barcelona, where it started up business by commercializing different chemicals for the industry.
In November , 1.987 , coinciding with the start of the huge public works which were undertaken to prepare the Olympic Games of 1.992, the company moved to the near town of El Papiol ; and, for that purpose, bought there the required grounds in order to build its stores and offices.
